An NCF discussion about the longer-term effects of the 2005 Muhammad cartoons affair on freedom of speech and the cultural and political life of Denmark will take place on Tuesday October 20th.
The guest speakers will be Helle Merete Brix and Farshad Kholghi.
Helle Merete Brix is a journalist, author, lecturer and the editor of Sappho.dk, the magazine of the Free Press Society. She is one of Denmark’s most well-known and controversial writers and commentators on the issues of free speech and radical islam.
Farshad Kholghi is one of Denmark's most popular commentators and actors. Born in Iran in 1971 to a Bahai family, he left in 1983 and has lived in Denmark ever since. He writes and lectures on subjects such as islamism, free speech and integration and is known for his zero-tolerance towards religious fanatism.
